I'm going dark for the weekend. As in, I won't be interacting with the internet much (if at all) to eliminate most (if not all) my personal dependencies on people as well as general neediness that's a bit of an issue. I'll be back monday. Until then, stay gold.

I don't interact with many people, apart from co-workers, family and several closer friends. I am reasonably happy, simply because I am an introvert.
I don't think you can change your preference for solitude. You either like to be around people or dislike it.
How did the offline time go, any notable benefits? Revelations? Withdrawals?
Definitely seems a good thing to get away from teh Interwebz every once in a while. Maybe longer than a couple days too. It's like you get a whole new perspective on the world; the right priorities fall into place again... all too easy to get swept away by the flood of interactions and content here; get routines you don't really need or want to have.

Hey there. I saw your post in the Supporter Lounge thread. Whenever you return, if you ever feel like talking to someone about it, you can send me a note if you want. (No pressure, of course) My situation is probably nothing like yours but believe it or not, technically I'm disabled too...in my case, my main condition affects my balance, hearing & to some extent my ability to focus. Chronic issues stink, do they not?
